Diagnostic tests using Molecular Light Technology (MLT) benefit from significantly higher analytic sensitivity than other techniques: Acridinium ester labelled molecules can be measured at <1 attomol – equivalent to detecting a grain of salt dissolved in an Olympic-size swimming pool!
We have now developed a next-generation technology that enables the benefits of MLT to be applied in a miniaturised test format for use at the point of care. Our portable analyser carries out diagnostic tests in a few minutes using a small droplet of blood that can be obtained by fingerstick.
